Communications with the ICAC and the UMAC with the parties and other users during the martial law

On 21 March 2022 the Presidia of the ICAC and the UMAC at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry ruled that during the martial law regime in Ukraine all incoming documents and materials should be submitted electronically to the e-mail addresses of the ICAC [email protected] and the UMAC [email protected]. The principle procedural documents (statements of claim, statement of defense, etc.) shall also be delivered in hard copy by all types of postal services or delivered in person to the reception of the UCCI: Ukraine, 01601, Kyiv, 33, Velyka Zhytomyrska Street. Upon the parties’ mutual consent, the requirement to submit documents in hard copy via postal service or in person can be neglected.
The secretariats of the ICAC and the UMAC ensure the electronic dispatchment of procedural documents, apart from the final arbitral awards, and facilitate the communication with the arbitral tribunals in specific cases, the parties, and other users of the ICAC and the UMAC services. Final arbitral awards signed by arbitral tribunals shall be forwarded to the parties via e-mail as well as delivered by post or in person to duly authorized representatives of the parties at the Secretariats of the ICAC and the UMAC. The duly authorized representatives of the parties confirm the receipt of such arbitral awards in person by signing a relevant receipt document.
